MICHAEL JANTZEN | M-HOUSE

MICHAEL JANTZEN | M-HOUSE

The Los Angeles-based Michael Jantzen, is one of the few of that generation of architects who have stuck to the idea of revolutionising the traditional way of building and offering new architectural solutions in line with the flexible and impermanent life style we practiced long ago. Michael Jantzen’s M-house is a modular house comprised of flexible parts that connect to a matrix of modular supports. The M-house is designed to be stable without a foundation, which makes it suitable in various terrains and climates; and can be entirely energy independent, with appropriate space for solar panels and wind-energy generation. So the question arises: is this the new way of living in the present world? I hope so, because it looks awesome!!!

MIAMI PENTHOUSE | PHARRELL WILLIAMS

MIAMI PENTHOUSE | PHARRELL WILLIAMS

If you won the lottery, how much would you spend on a house? I would invest most, and perhaps travel blogging around the world with the rest. Uh! I’m a nice dude, with some nice dreams. See these ice cubes, see these Ice Creams? Eligible bachelor, million dollar boat. That’s whiter than what’s spilling down your throat. The Penthouse, exterior like kiss that. The interior like suicide wrist red. Stop, stop…….I notice that I am daydreaming here again. But, hey, nothing wrong with that. Now… let’s go back to the start, where Todd Selby visits Pharrell’s art-filled penthouse apartment in Miami. Todd explores Pharrell’s impressive collection of artworks by Kaws, Takashi Murakami, Keith Haring, and Louis Vuitton, among others. Who wouldn’t want to live here? These images make me want to be somewhere tropical. Which is not so strange because I’m from Amsterdam and I haven’t seen the sun for a while. But I must admit, Miami is gorgeous and very tempting to visit and just sit by the pool or on the beach and relax. Pharrell has a beautiful penthouse and a great contemporary collection going on. Love the Murakami stuff!

Thanks to photographer Todd Selby, we caught a glimpse of Pharrell Williams bachelor pad. Pharrell Williams, drop it like it’s hot!!!
