Tricker’s are a central figure in another impressive collaboration, this time working together with Norse Store. Norse designed a range of beautiful footwear sold exclusive at the Norse Shop. All of them crafted with pride in the UK, using Goodyear welt construction and the best leathers. This classic all black brogue made for Norse by Tricker’s, with the Dainite sole is definitely my favourite pair of shoes right now. Awesome product!!
Chinos mostly are made with basic slacks with a pleated waistband and open pockets in the front and so-called piped pockets in the back. A favourite of ’50s teenagers and college students, although they date much farther back. Ben Sherman has made the EC1 program that’s new to this season! The chino is a great alternative to denim and a great way to spice up your wardrobe. Most people think pants are stuffy and boring, not the case with the EC1 line-up with the color pops and modern fits, Ben Sherman has thrown a fun twist to a classic style. Penfield is an american brand, established in Massachusetts in 1975 and have built a reputation for making the highest quality down-filled jackets, fleece and outerwear. One word can sum up how I felt about this collection: love. I just adore how Penfied stepped up their game for the SS11 season with these waterproof heritage jackets. These jackets are easy to wear but without compromising that clean-cut look. Mostly in summer I don’t even buy a jacket but on the other hand I spend a lot more time outside enjoying the sun. Wearing sunglasses to protect our eyes from the sun’s harmful UV rays is a given however we have to admit they are the best looking piece of protection around! With all these fashion weeks and all these fashion shows around the world, there are already fashion predictions for the upcoming season. While for clothing this includes which styles, cuts, and colours are in (and which are out), designer sunglasses are a bit subtle. Some designer brands, are already revealing their next collections. Thanks to EASTPAK Artist Studio, 77 of the continent’s most creative personalities have been selected to produce original creations from a number of limited edition ‘blank’ EASTPAK bags for charity. The artists have been selected from different backgrounds and include painters, sculptors and poets as well as musicians, graffiti artists and television personalities. One of the Dutch personalities is fashion designer, Antoine Peters. Antoine is a young Dutch designer previously named as one of ‘100 new fashion designers’ in one of my favourite books by Hywel Davies. Antoine’s design philosophy is based on ‘wearing, watching and bringing a smile to’ his customer. And… I think he did it again, no LOL he really brought a smile to my face. Well today is officially the day- my one year blogiversary. I couldn’t be more excited, also a bit surprised, at how fast my blog grew. I can hardly believe that my beloved blog is now one year old. Everyone keeps asking me ”so what are you wearing for New Years Eve?” My answer, I don’t freaking know! Well, as time creeps, that’s all I’ve been thinking of. Do I go for the simple look or should I wear a suit? Ah well… I still have one day left.
My primary mode of transport is the bicycle, I have always had a liking for bikes. How could one not? Just ask my friends and they’ll tell you all about it, LOL. I have always dreamed about a simple and solid urban bicycle with only necessary elements. I was looking for such a bicycle and I found it just two blocks from my house over here in Amsterdam. The most amazing thing to me is that it’s designed by a Dutch designer called Sjoerd Smit, right here in Amsterdam. This Ultra-Modern bike got a unique aluminum construction that houses two solar powered lamps – one to light the way and the other to make you visible from behind. On first glance, the Moof bicycle looks like a high school metal-shop DIY project, but on closer inspection this bike boils down the single-speed revolution into a bold fashion statement, I want this… NOW!!!!

I’m super thrilled about this new collaboration. I’ve seen the lookbook, I’ve seen all the pieces individually, and I’m happy about it. Though they’re a little bit on the expensive side for H&M, but I think they are all worth it. Alber Elbaz made a desirable menswear collection with ribbon trim blazers, classic lace-up shoes in 4 colour ways, beautifully tailored shirts, coats and of course, his signature bow ties. My favourite items would be the navy blazer with the black trimming around the collar and the nylon trenchcoat, I LIKE YOU LANVIN X H&M!

When you buy a gadget you love you do a lot of things to protect it. That’s more than necessary in today’s world where almost all gadgets feature big gorgeous screens that are a delight to use but a nightmare to clean and keep scratch free. No matter how careful you are there’s no way to keep it intact if you don’t get a sleeve, carrying case or protective screen. Don’t stress yourself too much choosing a suited case for your iPad, but remember that it’s a shame not to get one and ruin your gadget because of just one unlucky incident. Here are some of my favourite IPAD cases, enjoy!!!
Whenever I feel like I need to indulge myself a little, get some inspiration or just be in a happy beautiful place for a while I head to Sprmrkt in Amsterdam. It is one of my favourite shops in Amsterdam whom sells exclusive designer brands, books, accessories, furniture and other things. Sprmrkt has its name for a reason. It’s a giant space housed in a converted supermarket in the Jordaan District, but instead of drooling over peaches and pears your mouth will be watering at the sight of Margiela, Boris Bidjan Saberi, Acne and Raf Simons. So I asked if I could take some photos to show you, so you could get an idea of its beautiful offerings.
My favourite item in the store would probably be this amazing Boris Bidjan Saberi jacket that’s made out of boiled wool and features a slanted zipper and a high collar that will keep you warm during the winter. Personally, I think Boris Bidjan Saberi is back on track. Last season was a little bit of a disappointment. I think this is much better.
The above pictured suede laptop case is from Maison Martin Margiela’s 11 accessories line wich is made of 100% grey or brown rugged leather suede, and the inside is fully padded with the finest lambswool what works very well against the suede of the bag. This is pretty much a perfect laptopcase, serious business.
If you want to visit te store, the store is located in the Jordaan area, one of the nicest districts in Amsterdam. You are bound to find many other beautiful stores on your walk. I LIKE YOU SPRMRKT!!!!

Meet my favourite shirt: it’s a H&M trend dip-dyed flannel check shirt I picked up at the H&M showroom a few weeks ago and it’s one of those pieces that I throw on in a rush and have saved me from a few possibly late appointments. When I selects the right shirt for me, I never used to see whether it is cheap or costly. My criteria of selection is qualtiy. The quality should be good and the design of the shirt should suit my requirement. Price will come next to that. So I never used to search the expensive or cheap clothes, but the quality one. This shirt definitely fits all of my requirements and will soon be in H&M selected stores, thanks H&M!!
